Martin Bermoser comes from Carinthia. He trained at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna and the HB-Studio in New York and has participated in various Method Acting workshops. His singing teachers included Bettina Mönch and Elisabeth Schwarz. Martin Bermoser has performed at numerous theatres, both in Austria and abroad, and his roles include Zeke/The Lion in THE WIZARD OF OZ, Paul in KISS ME, KATE, Eugen in DIE CSÁRDÁSFÜRSTIN and Jonathan in ANTONIA UND DER REISSTEUFEL at the Volksoper in Vienna, Readymoney Matt in THE THREEPENNY OPERA at the Salzburg Festival, Stanley Kowalski in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (Altes Schauspielhaus, Stuttgart), The Soldier in ANDORRA, Cliff McCracken in A SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS and the Blue Man in BLUE MAN GROUP in New York and Berlin. He has appeared in numerous German language films and TV series, including “Tatort”, “Inspector Rex”, “Schnell ermittelt”, and “Soko Donau”, and has worked with directors like Michael Haneke (“The Piano Teacher”), Alain Gsponer (“Akte Grüninger”), Wolfgang Murnberger, Leo Bauer and Harald Sicheritz. In 2015, he played the Vienna Opera Director in “Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation”, and in 2016 he appeared in “Beyond Valkyrie – Dawn of the 4^th Reich”. His most recent appearance was as Zwirn in Nestroy‘s LUMPAZIVAGABUNDUS at the Festspiele Stockerau.
