Barrier-free musical experience
At the Raimund Theater we would like to give all guests the opportunity to experience musicals without restrictions.
Wheelchair spaces
We have reserved wheelchair spaces with a good view in the Raimund Theater. Please book them ideally up to one week before the performance so that we can prepare the auditorium accordingly. We will of course endeavour to accommodate requests at short notice up to the day of the performance.
For safety reasons, we can only provide wheelchair seating in the stalls for guests in wheelchairs who are unable to leave the auditorium or the building independently in an emergency.

Walking aids

Induction system for people with hearing aids
We would also like to give people with hearing aids the opportunity to attend our musical productions at the Raimund Theater undisturbed. That is why our auditorium is equipped with an inductive hearing system. This transmits the stage sound directly to our visitors' hearing aids and effectively suppresses background noise and reverberation. All information reaches the ears of the audience completely undistorted.
Please note that reception is only possible in the predefined seating area and book the appropriate seats to use the system:

How does the system work?
An induction loop enables wireless, interference-free reception of audio signals. The induction loop can be thought of as a wire loop that is placed around the predefined seating area. Here, the useful signal is transmitted directly into the hearing system by means of a magnetic field.
Simple activation of the telecoil in your own hearing aid or CI speech processor
In order to receive this signal, it is necessary to set your system to the appropriate reception mode: To use an inductive hearing system, the hearing aid is switched to T or M/T.

LIFT
The Raimund Theater also has a lift in the foyer so that you can reach all levels of the theatre. The audience service will be happy to assist you.
