VBW Young Musical
VBW JUNGES MUSICAL is aimed at children and young people, pupils, apprentices and teachers. We want to create a space between the stage and the audience, inspire young people for musical theater, bring them into contact with the diverse world of musicals and introduce them to the magic of theater. With our offers, we want to show all the different facets of the musical genre. We let young people take a look behind the scenes, encourage them to dance, sing and act, and introduce them to musicals in an interactive and participatory way.

In "Ab ins Musiktheater", the magic of opera, musicals and operettas is brought to life in countless fine, small scenes and with many loving details. Hidden object book viewers of all ages can get to know the exciting world of musical theatre.
FOR CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES
FOR leisure TIME
Our leisure activities offer young people their first encounter with the musical genre. The workshops take place in the ballet hall and on our rehearsal stage - there is singing, acting and dancing. Thematically, the workshops are based on our current productions and offer a look at the different areas of the musical, each time with a different focus such as dance, singing, acting, costume or stage design.
FOR APPRENTICES, STUDENTS & TEACHERS
FOR SCHOOLS
Our programmes for schools are aimed at school classes, apprentice classes and teachers. Specially created teaching materials prepare the content of our productions and provide background information so that the plays can be dealt with in depth in class. In Vienna and the surrounding area, we are also happy to prepare or rehearse the content of our current productions directly in the classroom in a participatory manner. Thanks to our partnership with Wiener Städtische Versicherung, we are able to support children and young people, and together with Basis.Kultur.Wien and the OeAD, we create experiences for apprentices. Our long-standing cooperation with MS Gassergasse connects the real lives of children and young people with our shows and creates lasting experiences.

The VBW offers young up-and-coming artists points of contact with musical professionals who pass on their experience from the world of theater to the next generation. We want to create proximity between aspiring and established artists, between students and theater directors, between today and tomorrow.
