Vampires rehearse for the opening night!
premiere 30th of September 2017
Just four weeks to go! On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES can finally be seen in Vienna again! Yesterday VBWs Artistic Director Christian Struppeck and Director Cornelius Baltus invited in the rehearsal studio to give a first insight in the rehearsals. The opening night is on the 30th September 2017 at the Ronacher.
The audience can look forward to three top stars in the role of Count von Krolock: Drew Sarich (Sept – mid Nov / from mid Feb 2018), Mark Seibert (Mid Nov. – End of Dec.) and Thomas Borchert (from Jan 2018 - mid Feb 2018) are all returning to the VBW for this new production and will share the role between them.
The vampire killer Professor Abronsius is played by Sebastian Brandmeir, who has previously played the role in the Swiss version of the musical. Raphael Groß makes his VBW debut in the part of Abronsius’ assistant, Alfred – as does Diana Schnierer as Sarah. Chagal is played by Nicolas Tenerani, and his wife Rebecca by Dawn Bullock. Charles Kreische is Krolock‘s son, Herbert, Marle Martens is Magda, and Florian Resetarits plays Krolock’s assistant, Koukol.
