Due to its great popularity, the VBW's successful production of ELISABETH took place for the fourth and unfortunately last time as a major concert highlight in the courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace. From June 27 to 29, 2024, the most successful German-language musical of all time was presented one last time as an exceptional concert experience in front of the famous historical setting of the Schönbrunn Palace.

The dramatic and moving story of the life, work and suffering of Empress Elisabeth will again be brought to the stage next summer with a top-class ensemble and the orchestra of Vereinigte Bühnen Wien in a large cast.
